Experiences Native English Tutor with Credentials and Licensure: In-Person or Online

Hi! I am a 36 year-old female from the United States. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for 8 years. I am a certified and licensed teacher in the United States, and I am specifically licensed to teach English as a Second Language with a Master degree in Teaching. I am also TESOL and TEFL certified and have certifications in literacy and the Science of Reading.
I have worked with students from 3 years old to Adults and from beginner English proficiency to Advanced and Business English. In addition, I havw experience preparing students for PET, KET, A1-C1 exams in the European system and also exam prep for the American University system.

I am comfortable teaching both British and American English, whichever you prefer. I can support you or your child in several areas of English, including: academic and social vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, conversation and debate, and English for various career paths.

I believe that learning a language should be fun, engaging, dynamic and relatable to every day life. With this in mind, I focus my lessons on student-centered, interactive activities that include all for language modalities: speaking, listening, reading and writing. For language development, it is of utmost importance that my lessons are meaningful and relevant to my students interest, so I am open to feedback and flexible to your learning needs.
