I am a licensed professional and TESOL certified English language teacher from the Philippines. I am confident to say that not coming from an English-speaking country gives me the advantage to support my student more in class.

Teaching should be interactive. I have always been a believer that the best way to teach students any language is by involving them in the learning process. In my 7 years of teaching experience, I have handled classes to students from varied backgrounds and different walks of life. Along the way, I have realized that there is no one-size-fit-all approach to teaching and learning. With that in mind, I focus on customizing my class according to students' needs, level and learning style. Although, I agree to the fact that grammar must be taught in class, I also believe that there are other interactive ways to do so. I want to promote interaction and collaboration between me and my student during the whole duration of the learning process. I aim to make my student appreciate the English language through application in any ways relevant to him/her.
